Summary: "Quirky but it works like a charm"

I have two of these units. If your Humidor is right out the box, dry, it will take at least a week of this unit running non stop. Also depending on the size of your humidor. One trick I used was to shut off the display and just let it keep on running. Many people say the readout is wrong by ten degrees. I have three readouts and it is off by one or two degrees.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RNBDE1Y9LF2DX Absolute dead on accuracy and reliability!!! Although some bad reviews early in its introduction period I decided to go with this unit... Since installing the unit I have been estatic with its trouble free dead on accuracy! The video shows the Ultra and the Caliber III, which btw is off from 4-12%. I had 3 other Hygrometers in the humidor to test accuracy and as can be seen in the video the Ultra is dead on to 80% in my seasoning of my new Humidor.

The humidifier only comes on sometimes even though the humidity is below the 68 - 72 degrees programed. It does not seem to keep good readings.
